Soffit Siding Installation

The installation of soffit will determine the positioning of the inside and outside corner posts.

In applications using both soffit and fascia install frieze runner f trim on the bottom of fascia board and complete soffit installation. Install a soffit double channel lineal or h bar. Oftentimes you ll need to notch and fit the first and last panel around corners and trim. Mark this dimension on a soffit panel and cross cut the panel using a power circular saw with a reversed fine tooth blade.

Soffit panels are similar to vertical siding. Then subtract 1 2 to allow for expansion. Use a carpenter s square to install the first soffit panel perpendicular to the house with the groove side toward the direction you re installing. Miter the soffit panels to fit into the h bar or lineal channel.
