The reissue of the album will be released on january 27 in australia canada and the usa via astralwerks and comes in both a standard black edition and a coloured limited edition pressing of 5 000. The release and subsequent touring in support of since i left you was followed by a 16 year radio silence which was broken with the release of the avalanches sophomore album wildflower modular recordings.

Fans were allowed to vote on which color vinyl the album would be pressed on as well as which record store the album would be sold at.
